How signing works when you sign a document through okdoc

Electronic Records & Signatures Disclosure

Before you sign a document electronically through okdoc, please read this disclosure. By checking the consent box and signing, you agree to the terms below.

Consent to electronic records and signatures

You agree to receive and sign documents electronically rather than on paper. Your electronic signature is designed to support legally binding electronic signatures under the U.S. ESIGN Act and UETA, and applies to the document you are signing.

Your right to a copy

After signing, a completed copy of the document is made available to you, together with a certificate of completion. You may request a copy at any time by contacting the sender of the document.

Withdrawing consent

You are free to decline to sign electronically. If you do not want to use electronic records and signatures, do not sign the document and contact the sender to arrange another method. Before you complete signing, you can withdraw by simply not submitting your signature.

Technical requirements

To sign electronically you need a modern web browser and access to the email address or phone number the document was sent to. Signing is performed entirely online, in your browser, on this page.
